They could simply be more polite and more welcoming. I got the impression that I was in a corrections facility. A simple “good afternoon, how you are doing” could make a difference.

You are correct they do not answer the phone and never call back. Turned in my permit paperwork back in June, and still no permit. There is only one worker I can get in contact with (NT) she is wonderful, she is the reason for the 3 stars. If not for her they would receive zero stars. Ive called a thousand times and they dont answer the phones , I reported illegal constructions in the address 3930 Northwest 171st Street, Miami Gardens, FL,, Im a neighbor that lives nearby and I was charged with a fine only because I had a boat parked in the front of the house and it was a bit oversized. However the neighbor is making out doors restrooms, big ceilings, cementing all the back yard, and also has a boat such as mine parked in front of his house. We have proof that the neighbor got an illegal permit for which he bribed a city hall inspector ( latin man ) to justify his constructions. We had complained many times to the city hall and no inspector has ever showed up to check this issue, its obvious there is a corruption issue going on in the hall.

They don't pick up the phone neither return phone calls the customer service is terrible here.
