Lots of interesting local books and maps. Owners very friendly and helpful. Pretty garden out front.
This is a bookstore dedicated to Florida books , novels whatever.I enjoyed looking for the ideal gifts for my grandchildren.
If you like reading about the history of Florida this small book store is a gem. They have shorts reads for a few bucks all the way to big heavy hardcover books. There's also have a bunch of maps of the state and posters. I like chatting with the owners they have a lot of local knowledge and are super friendly. Theres also a very sweet dog which is the icing on the cake for me. If you're from out of town and want a suvinear thats not something cheesey like an alligator foot or jar of sand if you want something unique this would be a great stop. If you're a collector of books or if you're looking for a gift for someone who really likes this state this is a great place to find a gift you won't find almost anywhere else.
In the past I just passed it by. But work sent me there. While they did not have what I was looking for it was an unexpected pleasure to stop in. I will be making more trips in the future.
Fun & informative little place! Though it is only a room, there's are quite a few interesting Florida-themed finds. Fiction & non & maps, &c
