Wise County is very privileged to have such a successful and supportive Sheriff's Office. The office staff, dispatchers, and deputies are very reputable and respectable. Sheriff Oakes and his team keep our county safe and secure, making it one of the greatest places to live.

In all of my dealings with the WIse County Sheriff's Department and Sheriff Oakes, I have always received prompt, courteous treatment. All of the deputies and civilian employees treat everyone equally, and the small town favoritism has gone away. I respect and admire all of the deputies and employees of the Wise County Sheriff's Department, they put their lives on the line everyday, so that my family & I can go out and live freely.

They came along and helped me in a and situation. We need to respect, honor, pray, and believe in our officers. When most are running away from danger, they head toward it to come to the aide and possible rescue of those in need. Remember while your running away, they're there fighting to keep evil off your back. Much love and respect goes out to our men and women wearing the badge of courage. Heaven knows they are a special breed of people that care and support our community. Be proud of them because the one you disrespect today could be the one that saves your behind tomorrow. Douchebag deputies who obviously need formal training on Constitutional rights of citizens. Should slap their superiors and tell them to send them back to the academy because they failed.
