The name says it all. It's a smart place to shop for your pet. The prices are great and the customer service is impeccable. The store has a large variety and I'm always in and out of the store in no time.

After making a grooming appointment by phone I was prompted to check in on line when I saw they had the wrong services scheduled. After calling and explaining my issue I was told that only the grooming department could assist me. I was then placed on hold. The line was picked up and placed back on hold four times, without a word, over the next 13 and a half minutes. A groomer then picked up the line, after checking to see that I was indeed scheduled incorrectly I was placed on hold TWO MORE times before I ended the call. This is no way to do business, especially if you’re a national brand with a spotty history of pet safety with their grooming department.nDon’t waste your time. I will not shop there again. Not for a dog biscuit or a can of cat food. Too many other choices out there to put up with that kind of service.

The grooming salon employee's are very professional and caring. Alilan is very caring, trustworthy and friendly we love our fur babies. They're our fur kids. Thank you, Ruth

Good clean store! You can tell thay yake good care of the animals living in the store. Great experience.

This review if for grooming. If you can go somewhere else, I would do so. When we first moved to Williamsburg, we struggled to find a groomer that we liked and were comfortable with. We finally found one at PetSmart, and she did a wonderful job with our dogs (especially our poodle mix), for a couple of years. She then left and it has been downhill from there. She recommended one of her colleagues, and shew as good...and then she left. Then there was a mass exodus leaving only two groomers. Fortunately, one of the groomers did as good as a job as the first one. However, then she told us she could no longer do our big dog, but could still do our little ones. I am not aware of our big dog EVER being a problem mind you (in fact his current groomer says he is wonderful).nnSo the big dog gets passed to another groomer, and the groom is sub par at best. Our two little ones still continue to be done well, but then scheduling becomes a pain. They have new groomers and don't tell you on the app they are in training, so you don't find this out until either you drop your pet off OR they call you to tell you the manager/supervisor will be watching the groomer do your dog...again AFTER you have already dropped your dog off. Our big dog spent nearly 8 hours there because of this.nnWe finally moved him to another groomer, but kept the little ones because she still did a great job with them and the scheduling is very convenient online. However....we have appointments getting moved to other groomers. If I wanted a different groomer, I would have chosen a different groomer. There is a reason we do not want other groomers. One of the groomers actually joked that she cut one of our dogs hairs too short because she misread the numbers. Well..that is a problem because that is NOT what I wanted at all, and I do not find it amusing.nnSince then, we have still tried to schedule our little ones (and even our big one for a bath, because of the time frame between his grooms at the other groomer), yet conveniently our appointments keep getting canceled. If it is not an equipment issue, it is a groomer issue being out sick or family emergency. Don't get me wrong, I understand family emergencies and being sick, but we have had our last 4 appointments canceled over the past 2 months. That has put our dogs well off schedule and well, I don't even want to look at them.nnFinal straw was this past week when I was told groomer was out for an emergency and if I would like to reschedule. No thank you, I am done. Even more shocking, when I told the manager this, you would think they would want to know why, try to come to a resolution? Nope.nnThat's fine, albeit very disappointing. I was a former manager at a PetSmart and my store would NEVER have allowed a customer to say that without trying to resolve it. I have already taken my grooming business elsewhere, I am now taking my other business elsewhere. I know they won't miss my dog food and toy purchases, but whatever. They obviously don't care.
