My wife and I stopped here for lunch and had a very pleasant experience. My wife had the Bens Beef Sandwich and she loved it. The roast beef was tender and flavorful. I got the Benedict Arnold Chicken Sandwich and it was the juiciest fried chicken I have ever had. The pimento and cheese with homemade potato chips was delicious. We will definitely be returning for dinner and recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.

I can’t believe all the good reviews on here. I don’t even know where to start. We were the the only table sitting outside on a Saturday night. Waiter came up to get our drink order and informed us they were out of many beer choices (they already don’t have a large selection). He returns with our drinks a good 10 minutes later and then decided to inform us of the food items they are out of for the night. Most of us had already decided on our items that are now not offered. We finally make up our minds on what we want for food and are informed that 2 6 top tables have just ordered inside so our food will be a bit delayed. We assume 10-15 minutes and we have drinks so no problem. We were provided with chips to tide us over. He returns to say that are out of some of the things we order so we have to choose something else. Forty five minutes later our waiter comes back to ask if we want anything else to drink. We ask about our food and he goes to check. He comes out and says it will still be 10-15 minutes. Twenty minutes later our food comes out. While most of the food was good, one of the members of our party got the beef sandwich and it came out basically raw and with the stems for the herbs still in it. Waiter comes back about 30 minutes later and we ask for our checks. We have now been here for about 2 hours. Still the only table outside and 2 tables inside. We ask about comping some part of the meal for the wait and he has to go get the manager. She finally comes out and says she has to speak with the chef or we can call the owner and argue our bills. She leaves to talk to the chef and the waiter comes back out and informs us they could only give us 10% off (labeled as military discount on the bill). Suffice to say we will not be back and I highly do not recommend.

Wow- what a jewel! I found this restaurant a week ago and we have been back twice. I love the food- it is like contemporary colonial recipes. There is so many good things I want to try, it is hard to decide. Everything we have ordered so far has been great! The ambulance of the restaurant is cool, it is the same style as the food- contemporary colonial. The staff is very kind and welcoming. We had Eden as our waitress both time and she awesomeud83dude0a We hope to come back next week and try a different item on the menu.

RJ the server and Clint the cook did an amazing level of effort for us for our first time there I will definitely be going back with more friends. all the food was delicious everything you could tell had handcrafted in artisan level efforts put in newer recipes were definitely spot on. The shrimp on top of the rice was amazing the ale-glazed sausage was spot-on for me and the country fried chicken went great with my wife. I was very satisfied and definitely would recommend this place hands down.

Fantastic British-inspired food with a modern twist! My fiance and I drove an hour to visit this restaurant and we both agreed it was well worth the drive! We ordered the Beef Hand Pies, Beef and Orzo Stew, and Macaroni and Cheese. Everything was delicious, the presentation was impeccable, and our servers were top-notch. The beer was also great. The ambiance was relaxing and the whole place was sparkling clean. Would highly recommend!!!
