Informative, small museum with small town connections. Phone system is great way to give the information about each exhibit section.
My mom and me found about this museum and went to visit it one day. It is amazingly detailed museum about American military history. I was very impressed by one gentleman, who I can only assume was a vet volunteering, who knew a lot of details about one of the displays.nAnd the displays were first class but also focused a lot on the Home Front which is a nice change of pace. I took lot of photos and learned a lot about local history as well. And the whole visit was very pleasant. It was amazing just how much they put into the space they had available!
Nice county airport and museum. Lot of artifacts from Korean and Vietnam war
I loved it because it was easy to get there, plenty of parking and next to the airport...it is a small place but very nicely displayed. Can stop and check the planes coming and going
Always on the lookout for small local museums. Found this museum and enjoy this type of place. No crowd, quiet, and able to read all the information without rushing. Covers a lot of military information in a short time. Kind of museum I'm looking for. Easy to get to. Easy parking. Clean restrooms.
