All the animals we saw seemed to be very healthy and happy. The owner was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I do not agree with the other poster thinking that this store is the same as or owned by village pets.

The owner was super nice too my step dad and myself. He will answer any questions you may have, and is very polite for those who want to raise a snake healthy. Super nice guy. Would recommend.

This place was exactly the same, if not worse, than village pets in Johnson City. I believe it may be owned by the same people. The smell was disgusting immediately when you walk in which was my first red flag. My fiancé and I own a variety of reptiles and other small animals and we were appalled to see the living conditions these animals were in. All of the cages for the mammals were too small and dirty but the reptiles were in the worst condition that I have ever seen. Most of them looked like they were on the brink of death. The adult bearded dragons were all crammed in a cage that was WAY smaller than what they need and they all looked extremely malnourished. No proper lighting or humidity to keep them healthy. The cage liner for the juvenile bearded dragons was a dirty paper towel. We didn't even bother to look at the fish, all I saw was algae covered tanks in the back. This place needs to be shut down for animal cruelty and I would give it zero stars if I could.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely buy all of my future reptiles and supplies from here.

Just went today just to look around because my fiance is wanting to purchase another snake. The guy who was working was not only extremely rude and had a very condescending attitude and acted as if showing us the snakes was the very last thing he wanted to be doing but he also appeared to be very messed up on some kind of drug his speach was off he could barely hold his head up much less his eyes open. The cages for most animals seemed to be fairly clean while others had no food or water in cages. Considering this is the only exotic pet shop in this area this could be a lucrative business but not with employees like this guy.. Terrible experience.
