PWC Library System needs to be privatized! The privatization process will only affect the HR and leadership, not the services to library patrons. Library System and Services, LLC is dedicated in fixing broken libraries by taking charge of the corrupted hiring practices in place and replacing them with fair practices. This change and a healthier budget will only benefit the library services to the community: adding materials for patrons of different cultures in their native tongue, purchasing up-to-date tablets and computers for patrons of all ages, expanding the children area and building study rooms, improving children and adult programs, etc. Library System and Services, LLC did a phenomenal job in improving customer service in all membership libraries, why not having the same quality service in PWC? The access in the library and the usage of library materials will remain free!n...nWe are now months later from when I first posted and the situation worsened considerably. Their employees got paid for doing nothing during the quarantine and finally reassigned different tasks not to help with Covid calls but to justify their high salaries while you are unemployed. Moreover, they opened a new library during these financially uncertain times. No worries, they'll increase our taxes so they can cover new salaries and the cost of new building. Please privatize and save our tax money!
