The room we got was amazing, the bed was super comfortable, the pillows were soft and firm. I don't have any complaints except how damn expensive it is. I don't know if this is a review for just the lodge but, u assume it is.
Very dissatisfied. Pick a different building to stay in. The HOA has disabled the laundry and ski lockers. You have to stack skis in the Hallways. Baseboards are missing, fireplaces do not work nor do the TVs. Other units may be better.
Rimfire is a Beautiful lodge to stay at while at Snowshoe Resort. Very clean and updated. Would stay again!
The fold down bed is pretty janky mattress wasn't really nice the fireplace was not working the heat was not even running for the room they had portable heaters in the room so we could stay warm the last lines were very long we waited on average a half an hour
My family and I have stayed at Rimfire every year for at least the last 5 years and have seen a steady decline in the quality of the accommodations. Lowlights from this year’s include an obvious lack of cleaning and a faulty GFCI circuit in the kitchen that left the microwave inoperable along with most of the outlets in the kitchen. Clothing and food items from the previous guest were found on the kitchen floor. The thermostat in the extra bedroom was not functioning. All this added to the new $20 fee per day for attractive underground parking made our visit unpleasant at best. If we return to Snowshoe it most certainly won’t be to Rimfire.nnFollow up to this review....Management at Snowshoe responded to my review with the promise of a 10 percent refund which they never applied. Very disappointed.
