Tuscarora Mill Restaurant

Giving 2 stars because the service was great!nnHad higher expectations for our dinner we purchased. We got the 16oz Veal Chop and my fiancé’s and mine were both burnt and gross.nnThe onion rings and zucchini fries were amazing and the service was great!nnHowever, if you’re going to spend $150 to eat somewhere you’d think they wouldn’t send out a very obviously burnt steak.

Went there with my new hubby and were treated great by staff. Food was excellent.

The restaurant entry was odd. They placed a merchandise weight scale right at the tiny waiting area. I don't know about the thinking behind that placement. Anyhow, onto the food. We had the seafood salad. For entrees, we had the sea bass, and the beef and scallops. The salad was awesome, probably the best salad ever, and it was a generous size as it was divided into 2 separate plates for us. Regrettably, the entrees were a different story, the sea bass was rather bland. It was almost no taste, the chef probably forgot to season the fish and just grilled it for a minute and into to plate for my wife. She did not finished the fish. The beef and scallops, the scallops were small had hard, which means they were over cooked, and the beef cubes were very chewy. I believe they were cooked out of order.nAbout the service, the waitress was very diligent and good natured. We definitely took notice of her good service.nThe restaurant was busy, and probably the cooking staff was undermanned for the night. Hopefully, they can correct these minor mishaps and restore my confidence in their good name.

Amazing food and service! We were celebrating a special occasion and they offered to make us personalized menus. The space was beautiful. I highly recommend.

Service could've been better- our server forgot about us for a good while and when she did come to us, she rarely came to check up on us. Other than that, food was outstanding. I got the crab cakes accompanied with mashed potatoes and zucchini. Crab cakes were creamy and rich and mashed potatoes were soft and flavorful. The water was very refreshing and clean; always got refills without asking. Would come back again.
