Cherry Hill is charming and romantical. It sets over looking historical stores in Monterey, Virginia. The town folks are friendly and helpful. This month, October, the landscape is full of color. The host and hostess, Rich and Linda are gracious. The food is delicious. Within a short drive is the Green Banks Science Center where we had a great experience. We love the B&B . Enjoyed the beauty of the Highland Countynmountains. Differently want to stay at Cherry Hill next year.nJean and Keith

When I arrived I discovered the hosts had mistakenly cancelled my reservation and given my room to someone else. That can happen anywhere and I was willing to forget it. They gave me a mediocre room in the back at full price. For the next 2 days, at every opportunity, the host questioned me and tried to convince me the reservation snafu was somehow my fault. Hospitality, graciousness, welcoming are not words to describe this B&B (bed and bathtub - no shower and no breakfast). Unexpectedly forced to leave earlier than the stated checkout time with no advance notice. I love the area but this stay put a damper on it.

Linda is a kind and gracious host. Very nice accommodation and a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful area.
