Dr. Michael Ackerman has been our family doctor for many years. He provides excellent care, and we see him regularly. I feel it's a rarity to find a doctor that truly listens to concerns and responds with genuine care. Excellent bedside manner, doctors and assistants included, and comforting all around experience. I highly recommend their office and doctors.

As a healthcare practitioner myself, I am particular when choosing a primary care physician. I want someone who will take the time to get to know my lifestyle, family medical history, and discuss changes to my health during visits. I especially want a physician who takes the time to perform a thorough physical examination. I have been seeing Dr. Michael Ackerman since 2016 and he has exceeded my expectations. He is a caring an competent physician and I highly recommend his practice.

I have been going to this practice for almost a year now,a patient of Dr.Mike Ackerman. Wonderful dr.I have a lot of gastric issues, high blood pressure.Typical things.Here recently I came down with shingles.I first went to urgent care because of the rash that developed on my back and chest.was given antivirul,antiviral, prednisone. After a few days the pain became unbearable, so I went to ER.they weren't quite sure what it was, but I told them urgent care had said shingles.they gave me valume.and sent me home.I took maybe 4 over a 2 day period,which did nothing for the pain.I was taking Ibuprofen like eating candy,but could not get relief.Worse pain I have ever had in my life.Finally got to a point where something just had to give me relief.Went to Dr.saw Lisa springer np and she prescribed Oxycodone.I still continued to take Ibuprofen and there was slight relief,but still hurt to the point of tears.went back and she prescribed dilaudid.I took that along with the Ibuprofen and it seemed to ease it a little also,but still very very painful.went back and she wanted to get a urine so naturally I did wasn't even thinking about a drug test BECAUSE I DON'T USE DRUGS! she didn't even tell me that is what she was doing.In the meantime I had walked to giant to the pharmacy to get the scripts that she prescribed which I thought included the dilaudid.but no order for that.Called their office to find out if they forgot, or hadn't called it in yet only to be informed by the receptionist that I tested positive for benzodiazopine and they were sending it out to the lab to confirm.Never took anything other than what was prescribed to me.so in the meantime I am suffering with this horrible pain.Number 1,she didn't even tell me why she was doing a urine and I never gave it any thought because there was nothing to hide.I think most dr.offices tell you when they do a drug screen and why they're doing it.so I waited in pain for over a week for that drug screen to come back.In the meantime I went to an urgent care and asked for a drug test which was negative. Finally I called to see if my results were back and she said yes that it was negative. They don't call you.you have to call them.I have an elevated d- dimer and that wasn't addressed, so I pursued that on my own.STILL IN PAIN in my back and shoulder blade suffering thru this and no word from Lisa springer.made an appointment with neurologist for 25th of august,August, in the meantime still suffering with this horrible pain.They made me feel like I was just seeking drugs for the hell of it.which was so far from the truth. Very disappointed in this practice. I don't write reviews normally, but I felt the way I have been treated definitely warranted one.

I like Lisa the NP, but I am not coming back to this office, the previous review is right, they tell you to be there at one time but you ALWAYS ALWAYSSS have to wait at least 40 minutes to be seen, I don't know if they're overbooking patients or just always running late; another thing is you can't get a hold of someone to save your life, phone always rings and they never ever answer, I cannot imagine trying to call my doctor in an emergency situation and just worrying about my call being answered. I will find another office for my physician needs.

Used to love this office. Then they fired my doctor-Monica Kanal-bc she spent too much time with her patients. I kept trying to go-have seen all the doctors and new NP. No professionalism. Always running late. Rushes through appointment. Not thorough or courteous.
