Their happy hour is seriously unbeatable for that area! Always put your name in first for happy hour as the wait can be quite long sometimes. I would go early, put your name in, and walk to the distillery down the street for a drink/absinthe and stay until you get the text that your seat is ready.nnThe oyster selection is great! Their KSOB oysters really are good and for the happy hour price, worth getting at least a dozen to start. They even have other small bites on happy hour that really are good.nnTheir cocktails are really good. A nice variety. I usually get the Airmail on happy hour and the Smoked Pineapple Margarita if it’s no longer happy hour.

We like this place! It's hard to get good seafood in this area. They have a full bar with great happy hour prices. The atmosphere is cheerful and welcoming. We sat outside. I had crab cakes that actually contained crab. They were served with perfectly cooked asparagus. My husband had Mahi with grated cauliflower. He said it was delicious. He had cherry cheesecake with chocolate drizzle which was very good. I had key lime pie which was more like key lime cheesecake. I prefer authentic key lime pie. Service was good till it was time to get the bill. This is such a common issue at restaurants and it was Friday happy hour. Still, it's annoying. However, we like this place and will go back.

Went there for dinner. I personally don’t like not be able to make reservations at a place like this. Be that as it may, it worked out fine. We ordered several appetizers, they were all excellent. Main meals had the similar standard. The oysters were good as well. Service is friendly, informative and efficient. I am sure we will return sometime soon.

Super friendly and fast service. I love an all hands on deck restaurant service model; everyone checked on us and waited on us. Happy hour is $5 and a super deal. We had IPAs, a NY sour, $1 oysters, ceviche and the tuna tacos with radish circles instead of a tortilla was my fave! Excellent flavors, presentation and I can't wait to return.

A go to spot for not one, but 3 meals in a 6 day visit to Middleburg (two takeout meals and one outdoor Happy Hour visit). You might not expect excellent seafood (and more) in Northern Virginia, but you’d be wrong. King Street Oyster is a good as anything we’ve had on Cape Cod, Charleston or Florida. Delicious food, amazing, flexible and accommodating wait staff and good prices. KSOB is a gem.
