Pete’s Pizza needs to be Shut Down!!!! The worst experience ever!!!! My family and I was travel back home from out of town when we stopped to get some pizza. We only stopped because of their ratings on google. Ok, after receiving our pizza .......moments later my sister found a big piece of plastic under the cheese of of a slice of her veggie pizzaud83eudd2c. We did receive a refund but kept our cheese pizza because my kids had ate most of it. Later that night, my daughter found a piece of paper under a slice of her cheese pizza. It's hard to believe that this restaurant could have a 4.4 star rating, even given the fact that pizza options are terrible in Culpeper. There are no good pizza places and to say that this is one of the better of the worst is not saying much. The pizza was soggy and greasy, and despite nearly burnt edges the bottom seemed under cooked. Sauce was extremely light despite the request for extra sauce. Cheese was good but overshadowed by the greasy meats which was a sure sign of cheaper ingredients. The atmosphere was nothing special, cleanliness was adequate in the dining area but somewhat questionable behind the counter. Prices certainly elevated beyond the quality expected. Service was zero stars since even normal requests were treated as if being too much trouble. Arrogant NYC attitudes were prominent with inadequate service bordering on rude. Why would I go any place that showed little interest in promoting customer satisfaction or appreciation? Dropped almost $60 for a family of three. Disappointing is inadequate in describing our experience. Perhaps other things on the menu are better than the pizza ... we won't return to find out.

Retro 70s/80s furniture that would expect from a family-friendly restaurant. Nothing fancy, nothing horrible. They did have several arcade games and all of them appeared to be operational.nnCustomer ServicenIt appears to be owned/operated by a husband-wife team. They were both behind the counter the entire time I was there. They weren't overtly friendly but they weren't hostile either. When walking in, I ordered and paid for my pizza at the counter. When my pizza was ready, I was expected to pick it up at the counter. The people who finished their meals before me took their trays up to the side counter so I followed suit. If you are expecting to be served at your table, this isn't the establishment for you. I purchased a fountain drink with my meal and it was filled from behind the counter. Im not sure if refills are free or not.nnFoodnBased upon a review I read, I asked for extra sauce as theirs was reviwed as being on the light side. The pizza had a decent amount but it wasn't overflowing so if that's your thing you might want to specify. I ordered a pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple. It was decent. Definitely a pizza you want to eat hot. I wasn't crazy about the spice blend in the sausage but it was okay. No complaints about the pepperoni or pineapple. They did not skimp on toppings or cheese. The sauce didn't really sing out.nnOverallnI would eat there again if I was hungry and not looking to be disturbed.

The place offers a great range of delicious food. I enjoy dining here. Employees are always super friendly, prices are affordable and the place is always kept clean.
