We have found this to be a great family friendly festival space. We have attended the blues festival and the chili cookoff. There is RV and shaded tent camping available (some basic 20 amp electrical hookups). The folks who run the festivals are very friendly and the few rules are enforced kindly. I think the setting is what really appeals to me. Wide open spaces and mountain views.
A nice community center for many events such as dances, baseball, softball, soccer, concerts, irlander games, cooking demo, on the 3rd week end of the March is the Terrapin 1/2 Marathon and 5K ultra trail run, and many other events go on at this old school.
Awesome outdoor venue with multiple events per year and start/finish location of the Terrapin Mtn 50k & Half-marathon.
