My wife and I went to Mt Airy for a long weekend, the town was great the friendliest people you could meet. We were going to have dinner at Old North State Winery. We set down at the bar asked for a menu it was the only place we went all weekend were the staff was not friendly. We felt like we were bothering the bartender asking for a drink and a menu. I thought it might have just been me but my wife felt the same way. So we paid our bill and went to 13 bones and had a great meal.

Stopped here for dessert after dinner. Great wine. Good service.nThe bread pudding was the winner at our table. Lots of great flavors. Creme brulee was good but they burnt the top so it could have been a lot better. The chocolate cake was pretty great.

Went to old North State winery for my birthday, we had reservations. Really recommend a reservation, especially during the busy days. The wine was extremely tasty and food was excellent. We ordered a cheese platter and the fried green tomatoes appetizer. I had the sirloin with augrain potatoes and my friend had jumbo crab cakes with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Our meal was perfect. Our waitress,Kory, made sure our night was wonderful and answered any questions we had about the food or wine. The atmosphere is nice and calm, not too loud;as some places can get. I highly recommend this location if you are visiting Mount Airy.

Had a great time! Wonderful atmosphere! Wonderful hostess! Wonderful wine! We bought 3 bottles and did a great tasting. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere!! Only had the Mac and Cheese with a wine tasting, but sooo good!! Dry and sweet wines available.
