This is a nice rural Catholic church. They were very welcoming and had just moved into phase three from COVID. As part of phase three, they had begun singing songs again. This was a nice treat since our home parish is still not singing any songs. They were very well spaced out. Our family felt safe celebrating Mass with them.

A historic church building dating back hundreds of years that was once a Methodist Church. Seems to have a very devoted and pleasant congregation. We attended a funeral service for a colleague who had passed away. Excellent eulogy by the priest.

NOTICED MAJOR LITURGICAL ABUSE ...nnI straight out walked out of Mass. The pastor wore a St. Patrick's Day Hat to the alter at the beginning of Mass, for some laughs. The solemn occasion of the Eucharist was being disrespected.nnAlso, as unfortunate as this may seem, the Second Sunday of Lent supersedes the Feast of St. Patrick. Now, that is not to say that we ignore St. Patrick during Mass, but I think St. Patrick is okay with us focusing on this season of preparedness for Good Friday and Easter.
