First I would like to acknowledge that the work performed by Precision to provide water service to my boat dock was outstanding. The technician listened to my own idea about the scope of work and then, in a courteous and professional matter, suggested alternatives. I agreed to most of his suggestions and a price was presented and accepted to begin work.nWhen the job was completed, I accepted the bill without question or discussion. However, in spite of all the good work performed, I find the Company's method of billing too vague and confusing. There is no hourly rate. There is no detail list of parts used and their price. To determine whether the billing was fair, I did my own analysis. I accept the $100.00 service fee and allowed $120.00 for parts, which is reasonable. Time on the job was just under 3 hours. After subtracting parts cost and service fee from the total bill and then dividing the balance by 3 gives me an hourly rate. By this analysis, I paid more than $350.00/hr for the services of one technician. The above rate is an excessive fee. I did not see it until I did the analysis. I believe Precision employs good people and their work ethic is excellent. However, I would only use Precision again under a more fair pricing method.
We had Precision Plumbing out to fix our outdoor faucet that had frozen and busted. The technician showed up on time, was very friendly and offered me a more economical option before he began working. He finished quickly and even repaired some of the under house insulation that was down prior to him arriving from another contractor. I'd highly reccomend Precision Plumbing for any and all Plumbing needs.
We have been using Precision Plumbing for many years now and have always been happy with their work. They do quality work and always show up on time. Have them winterize and reopen our seasonal home every year as well as have had toilets replaced and all of the pipes replaced when we had a very cold winter and the pipes froze and burst. Will continue to call them.
Great Service! Everything was perfect. We had a new Tank Less water heater installed and relocated. The old water filter system was removed and replaced also. Precision Plumbing did a professional job!
None of us likes to have to pay for plumbing services, but when you need a plumber it is wise to hire the best. This is one area of home maintenance that you don't want to skimp on. I have known Jeff Matthews since we first moved here from central Maryland ~2006. I will not use anyone else when it comes to plumbing.
