Eddie and Erica who run The Lighthouse Inn are extremely friendly. It's a quiet cozy Inn. Grill on sight,pool,area for dogs to do their business and in distance of everything. The beds and pillows are amazing. You can park right in front of your room. Affordable and clean.

In order to save our family trip, we needed 3 rooms last minute due to the hurricane causing an evacuation at our rental in NC. Sue could not have been more accommodating and nice! We arrived to a clean room that had plenty of space and our dog was excited to be welcomed as well. The outside screened in area was great for our family to hang out in during the evenings. We also brought food in and ate there at times (tables, chairs, grill w/ utensils, sanitizing supplies). Sure, the property is dated, but I was extremely impressed with everything else that it didn't bother me. Would recommend to anyone but especially those looking for a pet friendly hotel in Chincoteague!

Perfect location, spacious room with EXTREMELY comfortable bed and pillows. Plus no hidden fees! Most pet hotels give you the room price and then charge additional fees per pet that are astronomical-- The Lighthouse Inn factors in everything within the room price. Not to mention, the inn keepers were incredibly friendly and gave us the best restaurant recommendations and pet friendly places to take our dogs on the island so they can experience the bay too. With or without our pets, we will be back to The Lighthouse Inn each time we visit Chincoteague.

Owners were very friendly, pool was great. We paid too much for services received, unfortunately. In 14 days our room was vacuumed once. We had to take our own trash out, ask for towels, bathroom never cleaned etc. No reduction in price due to COVID restrictions.

Cost to stay was too high for services renderdnNo cleaning service was given for our 2 week staynBut were still charged high fee, had to take garbagenOut ourselves, No bed linens changed for the 2 weeks, no breakast, but we knew that ahead of time!. Had to ask continuosly for towels & washcloths! Manager was nice but said wasnt able to come in our room because of covid-19nOur fridge was not keeping as cold as SHOULDnManager went n bought us a brand new one our first day there!! That was great , it even had a freezer!
