Atlantic Shores Inn and Suites 2019

No part of our stay was good! Will never go back to this place. Breakfast consisted of slices of bread or biscuits and apples and bananas. Pool closed, other pools around were open. Lobby is closed at night, wouldn't do anything about all the partying next door and running on the balcony beating on our door. No outside lights on the steps. No towels in the room, had to request some that took just under a hour to arrive. No maid service while we were there. Employees were extremely rude and most didn't have on mask when we all are suppose to be wearing them. Sand every where in the room as well as long black hairs. Ice machine didn't work. We love the island but again, will never stay at this facility again. Oh and don't lean on the hand rails, they will fall off.

Let me first say I was hoping there was going to be a negative 5 rating to give this place and a plus 150 rating to give to the DAYS INN in Chincoteague. That's right, just go down Madox blvd and after the roundabout, it's on the right-hand side, can't miss it. Yea the days in literally couldn't have been better and thank god they were able to get us in on such short notice. especially after the absolutely vile and atrocious room and service I was forced to bear witness to here at this location., I have been going to Chincoteague for a long time and never once have i ever been more dissatisfied. I booked this room for 4 weeks in advance. when we get there the parking lot looks like the zombie Apocolypse happened there and just there. The parking lt literally had diapers and needles in it. the door to our room was wide open. had not bee cleaned at all and this is how i know. The beds were made, pulled back the blanket and there was hair all over the sheets and the pillows, sand, and hair still in the bathroom and feet prints in the sand in the bathroom. The entertainment stand was completely falling apart with a tv in it meanwhile the ONLY SMOKE ALARM IN THE ROOM is actually laying down on the broken entertainment stand with the battery laying out of it. On the backside of the stand. When I picked up the smoke alarm you could see the dust where it had been laying for god knows how long, so we want to leave and go eat as it was 18 hours of travel to get there and there it was, the door had been kicked in at some point in time and the bolt was missing so just curious I tried to close the door. The WIND BLEW IT OPEN, the door would not lock. at which point i looked down to see an electrical outlet that could have been pulled right out of the wall and easily caught fire to the chair that it was against. trash left in the fridge, trash left in the cans, the microwave had food in it. and when we told the manager she said, oh well that's the cleaning staff that's not my job. they did not care. we got a refund and left. This place needs to be looked into seriously. DO NOT STAY HERE, if you have made reservations CANCEL THEM AND GO TO DAYS IN OR SOMEWHERE ELSE. if you do stay there, please make sure you get a covid 19 test after leaving. w

No problems with room, except the fact the AC was set to 90 for our arrival and there was 0 maid service through the duration of our stay. Said online there were ponies and a pool, but pool was closed and no ponies at all even though other hotels around had their pools open and such. Young man at front desk didn’t really seem to know what he was doing when called about fixing the AC temperature. Everything was within walking distance though, so that was a good part. Would only go back there if it was absolutely necessary.

Had to clean the filter on the AC for it to cool down the room, it was so full of dust it was peeling off.. Mold in ceiling above bathroom (expected in a bathroom but should be treated). Staff were super friendly, but not too bad if things are kept up on

Just save your money. The room smells like a dusty thrift store. There’s black mold in the bathroom ceiling. The tiles need to be re grouted. It just feels very unkept. You just feel like you’re staying at your grandmothers place with the furniture and the smell. If it was down to this place and not visiting the island I would reschedule your vacation.
