Virginia A. Blanks, MD

Dr Blanks is great but I wish that whoever answers the phone could remember your name when you give it. But since Dr Blanks is so great, it's hard to get to see her when you need to. Waiting a month for an appointment that my employer requires is too long of a wait.

Dr. Virginia Blanks is by far the most through, compassionate, professional, and caring Physician I have ever seen for my medical care.nI have experienced a wide range of health issues, including various diseases, physical accidents, heartbreaking losses, and ongoing age and heiritary related illnesses.nDr Blanks has always gone above and beyond to address all my health care needs and she treated me with the utmost dignity and respect while I was her patient!nUnfortunately for me, I had to move to North Carolina several years ago and I know now that I will never find a doctor who compares to the unique and precious Dr. Virginia Blanks! I sure do miss her!

Dr Blanks has been my doctor since 2008. I had given up on finding a doctor that would actually spend time with you and genuinely care about your well being. All the doctors now don't even want to get to know you and it's almost impossible to find one that really does care. I wish all doctors were like her, she is truly a gem.

My Experience with CMG Village and Dr. Virginia Blanks. I started seeing her in 2008 after a very bad experience with a physician in Salem Virginia. I found her through working for a handful of physicians I had a friendly relationships with, who encouraged me to stop seeing the physician I was seeing and recommended Dr. Blanks. This was the Best decision I could have made for myself. After my first visit I knew I had finally found a physician that would take the time to help me with many complex situations. She spent several hours with me on my first appt. Every appt. after that she spent as much time as needed to help me. Her compassion and kindness was unmatched by any physician I had ever seen. She never made me wait hours to see her. She spent whatever amount of time needed to help me every time I saw her. I was used to waiting hours to be seen a quick check a script and out the door in 10 minutes. My old doctor never spent more than 10 minutes to help me. Most Doctors I had seen all had a five to ten minute rule and would only deal with 1 issue per visit and I was very sick and had multiple issues. I was 5'4 in height and weighed 104. I felt like I was dying at 30 years old I was so sick I wanted to be put in a nursing home. I was in horrible pain and had a intestinal disease that could not be cured. Scoliosis, fractured bones in my neck any many other issues. After 1 year of seeing her my health conditions were dealt with, I no longer wanted to be in a nursing home. I was getting healthier with every visit. I gained weight for the first time in my life. I had finally found a Doctor who cared about her patients. My health got better and better with every visit. She saved my life. She never rushed me and tackled every issue. Every time. Not everything could be cured, but knowing how to deal with it was peace of mind. She is the best Doctor I have ever met. I just so happen to know a lot of doctors personally, and they are great. But my Doctor is the Best. Patient, Dr. Relationships are very important if you are sick and even if you are not. She has spent so much of her time helping me and has showed me compassion and kindness. I could never repay her for the peace of mind she has given me and her time. Standing by me, encouraging me every step of the way. I love my Doctor, she is such a blessing. Thank you for all you do, you have helped me when I thought all was lost. You helped me climb that mountain to the top! I would not have made it without you!

Went there as a new patient and all that was available was a NP. So I called for my next appointment and requested a male MD that was accepting new patients and they said you can't switch to any of the other doctors within the practice, you have to stay with who you saw first, its the rules. Very disappointing. Will not be back.
