ATTENTION!!!!nPatients of Doctor John P. Snead in Parksley Virginia . Putting aside his 21 years as a doctor . He apparently is a self centered individual that obviously has been in the psychiatric field much too long. I personally witnessed him on a phone conversation where in one instance he spoke with his patient and advised them that they’re meds prescription will be called in and filled at the local drug store.. when following up the next day about the prescriptions, we were advised that the doctor never called any prescriptions in. Another call to doctor John p Snead to find out if there was a problem , his attitude and demeanor did a 180 and the professional doctor of 21 years , advised us that he was not going to call in the prescriptions , he then advised us to seek another doctor, told us he wouldn’t do it, and was extremely rude about it, so much so that he deliberately hung up on us and refused to answer the phone when we called back . The patient , is bipolar , suffering from depression and also diagnosed with PTSD., doctor sneads. Actions showed how deliberately , unethical , uncaring , and unprofessional he can be , by leaving a patient in this condition and not caring at all about helping , so the patient can get through the circumstances with the needed meds long enough to find another doctor . He actually left the patient on the edge nerve wise and in tears and beside themself having no clue who they will make it through the next month. If the doctor was having a personal problem , we could understand , however , for him to deliberately , place his patient in harms way with such despicable actions , was totally unwarranted . I personally know that the patient he was treating , was NEVER a problem and was alwaysnPleasant and seriously ,,did NOT deserve to be treated in anyway like they were. I will be advising every medical board in the Virginia area of what happened, I realize nothing from my complaints will do any good . But regardless , this matter needs to be brought to the surface for investigation, and a record of his actions needs to be placed in his file for all to see. I can only wonder how many other patients this so called doctor has deliberately and unethically denied help to after treating them previously . Dr,Snead , needs to be on the receiving end of his actions and made accountable .
