Beautiful place. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Long hike to beach. Up and down sand dunes. But well worth the hike. Parking is small. But I have a truck and fit. Easy in and out when you find the place. Very quiet road. Not much traffic. So don’t be afraid if you get lost.

Was nice and beautiful. But I wasn't there. I was next door fighting a woods fire

This place is a hidden treasure! We drove up on a Sunday to visit a bunch of parks on the Eastern Shore and this was by far our favorite! The whole time we were there we only saw two other groups, so it was the perfect place to explore during the pandemic. We also liked the diversity with the grasslands, forest, pond, dunes, and beach.nOur only advise is if you get to the beach there during low tide, make sure you leave before high tide and keep an eye on how high the water gets, or your path to get back will be blocked by lots of water!

Absolutely love this spot. It’s a real gem that few people get to enjoy. Go at low tide to be able to enjoy the flats and take your own shade/shelter because there is no cover close to shore. Take PLENTY of water—it’s very hot on a summer day. The tiger beetles are charming, as they jump around and fly and play with each other. Just a very special place. The city folk who have reviewed this Eden are put off by bugs and snakes. Good. Keeps it less trodden for lovers of it like me. And hopefully you!

Not a lot of parking but it was a beautiful walk to the beech. Make sure you pay attention to the tides. We showed up just as the tide was going out and had to walk through quite a bit of water to get to the bigger beech. Worth the trip if you want to walk for sure
