Brian Leggin was great! Fixed my torn rotator cuff without surgery. Back on the golf course.
I highly recommend this facility. I have received therapy in 3 other facilities so I am able to compare treatment and this is at the top. Thanks to Mickey for her professional and caring work. She keeps me busy and motivates me to do my best. I know she truly wants me to perform at my best and helps me make the most of my physical problems. I have improved under her care. Thanks, Mickey.
I have been going here off and on since February. I started to rehab my thoracic spine after having surgery. Then I fell in March fractured my lumbar 3 vertebrae and pelvis. So now I am rehabbing both areas. Not only is this location super convenient for me they are specialized therapists to exactly the area I am working on. They are personable and helpful and knowledgeable about what they are doing. An excellent facility for Physical Therapy. I am working with Mici and she is the best. Thanks Penn for opening a facility so close and in the area.
I have been so happy with Good Shepherd/Penn Partners! I had an ACL replacement and have been doing rehab with them since February. Mickey and Brian are wonderful and I’m on my way to a full recovery. I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking physical therapy!
To begin, my physical therapist, Brian, gave me hope when I had none. My Dr., John Kelley IV, MD, recommended Brian because I did not know who would be best to treat me for my injury.nnI tore my right shoulder rotator cuff. Upon seeing inside my shoulder during surgery, Dr. Kelly said I had a lot of damage and that he had to make a “patch” from other tissue. I injured my shoulder by falling twice and extending my arm to break my fall.nnMy injury occurred in July, 2018. My surgery took place on August 30, 2018. The surgery location in Phila., and under Dr. Kelly’s team, runs like a fine tuned machine. From start to finish there was not even a hiccup through the entire procedure from my initial appt to my last app’t with Dr. Kelly. Dr. Kelly released me from service on May 13, 2019.nnI needed to wear an immobilizer sling all day, everyday for 7 weeks. The only time I did not wear my sling was when I showered. I slept, ate, and used the restroom wearing my sling. I was unable to dress myself, style my hair or put on makeup. I also was not allowed to drive. Housework and cooking were nonexistent.nnPhysical Therapy began on Dec. 10. I did not know what to expect but I did not have much hope.nnFast forward to May 13, my last PT app’t and my last visit with Dr. Kelly, when he released me as a patient.nnWhen I started at Penn Partners P.T., it became very clear to me just how serious my injury was.nnI am not exaggerating when I say PT is very, very hard. Brian was serious but listened when I reached my pain threshold. I rested and then we started again. I saw Brian twice a week but was expected to work on my own, at home, everyday and several times a day. Some days were better than others.nnIn the few times that Brian was not at PT, Michelle (Mickey) led my session. She was just as thorough as Brian.nnI had some very low days. I was frustrated by what I couldn’t do and had little hope, but I knew upon entering my PT office, I would always be greeted by Aclian with her smiling, happy and kind face.nnSlowly, instead of worrying about all that I couldn’t do, I was able to focus on what I now could do.nnBrian, Mickey and Aclian gave me my life back.nnThere are not enough words to express how much of my recovery belongs to these fine people. They have studied, learned and focused for much of their lives all to help clumsy people like me, return to almost the very same person as I began.nnHowever, I am a much better PERSON because of their kind hearts.nnWhen you are in need of Physical Therapy, I strongly suggest using THIS TEAM of professionals even if it means going farther from home.nnThank you, thank you, thank you!nnNow if I can just stay on my feet, I’ll be okay!!
