Customer experience every day I go there to three times a day during the week I got 10 15 times a day I have five kids and a wife to support

I live very close to the 13th street Dollar General...I am very disappointed with this store because the shelves are never ,stocked, are boxes all through the aisles..and being handicapped,it's very hard to walk. This store (13th street) Never has items that are needed often. HOWEVER..I have found the VERY BEST DOLLAR GENERAL IN ALTOONA!! The store at 3229 6th Ave. Was absolutely Fantastic!!.and believe me, I went to 3 Dollar Generals before trying this one. The shelves are stocked full,and there is nothing blocking your way in the aisles. The store is CLEAN..and it was actually enjoyable to walk through the aisles and shop.I honestly cant let a review without telling you how well treated we felt by the employees!!! I really wish I could tell you their names, but I had a very large order, and was flustered . The checkout Young woman could not have been more respectful. She offered me a mask because I somehow lost mine in the store. She was wonderful!! There also was a young man working, and I got a wrong item, and he offered to take it back,and bring me the one I wanted. I ended up with 53 items,and came very close to $200 on my receipt. I recommend EVERYONE who is disgusted with Dollar General to go to this one,and you will be VERY HAPPY you did. We started at the new store in GREENWOOD- it looked like a bomb had gone off..bare shelves, and workers were standing at the register complaining very loudly that no one is doing their job ..3 of them....someone could have done something.nDOLLAR GENERAL STORE #21236n3229 6TH AVE (in the little plaza past Reighards gas station)nI will not go to any other store now that I have discovered this one. Go one time, and you will see how great this really is.

One of the best Dollar Generals in town. Always well stocked, clean, fast checkout with great employees.
