Riding at Greystone has been absolutely awesome! Rachel is an amazing trainer she cares for each student as well as the horses. I have been riding with Rachel for a year or two now and I absolutely love it! Rachel is easy to talk to and is very kind, she has an amazing teaching skill as well. She makes sure her students are comfortable and confident, I have come so far in my two years with her and can’t wait for what’s next! The facility is also very nice, beautiful arena and big stalls.

I absolutely love Rachel and her barn, and can't say enough good things about her! And I drive an hour to her- and have been for the past year- so that says something! Rachel really cares about all of her students and boarders. She really believes in her students and pushes them to be the best rider that they can be, but instills confidence in them along the way. She is always going out of her way to make sure the horses have the best care. She is such a caring person, and will listen to your needs and concerns about your riding goals, or horse, and make sure you receive nothing but the best.

My daughter started riding with Rachel 9 months ago. From the beginning, Rachel helped my daughter overcome some bad habits and formalize her riding. Rachel worked hard to match my daughter with horses that would challenge her, while allowing her to work on certain skills. Rachel takes a lot of time to explain how and why things are done. My daughter’s confidence and level of riding has reached a higher level.nnOne aspect of Rachel’s program that I have appreciated is that her lesson horses are trustworthy and well trained. Rachel takes the time to pro ride each one regularly, so the horses know their job and are in good condition. I am not saying they are “push-button” (although there are some that are great for beginners) but when my child learns how to do something, the horses have worked with Rachel to know how to do it too.nnThe Graystone facility is beautiful. The indoor ring is a rider’s dream. Not only is it huge, but it has GGT footing and will make riding all winter in the cold very pleasant for both horse and rider. Rachel is a stickler for detail and makes sure the barn is always organized, clean and well stocked. The horses are extremely well cared for and their needs always met. As a parent, I appreciate the heated viewing room. I am sure the horses appreciate the well bedded stalls and the wash stall with warm water. The setting is way off the road and feels like it’s own world. It is perfect for horse shows and clinics. For us, this is a perfect size barn with nice people who work and ride there. We highly recommend it!
