Nice hike. The trail is very wide and easy to find / follow. There are some offshoots that go towards the shore that are highly recommend. Buggy so bring some spray. There are really great spots along the shore to stop and admire the view. Just remember, no swimming is allowed. I did not see many people on the trail during my few hours there, which was nice. Not difficult at all. Would def come back for a quick hike and enjoy the views.
This is a good parking spot to get situated for pictures at the Old Stone Church. Probably a 2 minute walk to the waterfront directly across from the Church. When we went (6:20 pm), there were quite a few spots.
This is my sanctuary so clean and hats off to dcr that runs it great group of guys
I've been using this lot for fishing for the past 20 yrs. Use to be just fishermen parking here but now there more walkers. It is also a popular place for dog walkers, although no dogs are allowed.
