I had the pleasure of having a private scent consult with James and enjoyed not only an incredible sensory experience unlike any other, but James’ extensive & impressive knowledge of their craft—undoubtedly evident when you sample their amazing array of perfumes! I’ve been enjoying my two favorites—Blue Heaven and Juxtaposition. The perfumes are exquisite, both on their own and layered. Blue Heaven truly has a “blue” sense: serene & lucid while Juxtaposition invokes a playful, sexy sense that lives up to its name. The bottles are absolutely beautiful, displaying James’ art—a very cool and special touch—which can also be seen and enjoyed throughout the shop/gallery. The space, products, and experience TSVGA bring are undoubtedly a wonderful addition to the Western MA community!

My fiancé, and I made the drive out to the valley from Providence. We met with James Barry, the perfumer behind TSVGA parfums, early evening After spending an amazing day in the area exploring local shops and restaurants. When we arrived at TSVGA parfums we were greeted warmly by our gracious host. We spent the next hour or so being treated to some of the finest olfactory treasures You’ll ever come across in this world. James is extremely knowledgeable, and made us both feel At home in his gallery space. He walked us through each one of his creations. Sharing the stories and inspirations behind each of the fragrances All while answering any and all questions we had. His Walls are filled with the artwork that also appears on the labels of the bottles. All are James’s Own artistic creations. We left with several fragrances, and plan on returning to experience the fragrance making class he offers.
