Sanjiv Mehta, MD

Dr. Mehta is an incredible surgeon! He has taken care of me both in Greensburg, KY with a broken leg and Louisville, KY with an arm surgery. His bedside manner is second to none & he is very personable. He takes his time with patients & makes sure you fully understand your diagnosis / treatment plan. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

After waiting a month for an appointment I arrived at the office to find out that the doctor wasn’t in. Instead I had been scheduled with a different doctor who doesn’t treat my condition. That doctor then referred me to the doctor I was supposed to see in the first place. So now I have to wait another six weeks to be seen and of course pay them an additional co-pay to be seen. This practice seems to be more motivated by money than by quality patient care.

I suffered with pain from what I thought was sciatica for close to 2 years. After appointments with doctors and specialists in every medical field plus epidurals and physical therapy, I was finally correctly diagnosed. Thank God, I was referred to Dr. Mehta. During the initial consultation, he reviewed my 2 MRI's and X-rays and explained in detail what was happening. My hip bone was deteriorating and would require a total hip replacement. He spent time showing me what the device looked like and how it works. I left that visit with more information and hope than I had had in years. Now, a few months later (and 4 weeks post-op), I am walking without a cane, driving my car, off pain medications, and going to outpatient PT. Dr. Mehta performs miracles with his surgical skills, but his calm and thoughtful interactions before, during and after the surgery make him an exceptional doctor.
