I love it before covid the surveys snakes that were very good and they rent skate sharpen skates and I do hockey there and everyone is very nice.
This is not only a great place for kids to go but it is great for families. They rent skates to you and even have popcorn and Coco for sale up at the counter. The facilities are well maintained and they have ample amount of space around the rink but limited in the common area where you would put your skates on.
Juneau should be very proud of their ice rink. It's really a great facility.
My daughter is in the Intro to Hockey class that's offered here. The staff is helpful, there's hardly ever a crowd, and the price is about what I'd pay to go swimming, so it's... comparable to water-based alternatives, I guess? I'd probably like it more if I could skate worth a damn myself, but I've found the ice to be quite forgiving on my frequent impromptu lie-downs.
Simple, well kept ice rink with fun open skate hours. Mostly used for the local hockey teams.
