The guides were top notch! They knew exactly where and how to get it done. I will continue going to Yakutat for many years.

An extremely convenient option for those visiting or passing through Yakutat. The lodge office and bar is literally steps away from the Alaska Airlines terminal. Prices aren't the cheapest, but are in line with what you'd expect for the area. Rooms are nice and well furnished, with K cup machines and a supply of K cups.nOne downside is that the Wi-Fi does not extend to the actual rooms, or at least I was never able to connect to it from there. You should be able to get a decent connection from the lobby or bar/restaurant. Then again, the internet anywhere in Yakutat isn't exactly going to impress you. Expect 1-2 Mbps with significant latency, as expected from a satellite backhaul network. Video or voice calls always failed, but texts worked fine.

Went on a guided river trip with my son. Our guide Adam was very friendly and knew every inch of the river. Thanks to Yakutat Lodge and their guide Adam my son and i had our best fishing trip ever.

First time there. It's a great fish camp. Great guides. Special thanks to river guides Mike and Craig, and to halibut Captain (Just call me) John, for excellent advice and insight . We were very happy with our stay, and will be back.

Super hot showers, sheets smelled like bleach, beds were awesome. Authentic Alaska at its best. Brilliant place. Will stay there again
