What a fantastic spot inside and out. It was clean, cozy, and just what we wanted in a rugged Oregon Coast escape. There's a great walking path just out the door and of course the beach front there as well. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can. A summer visit is fantastic but winter might be even better. It's certainly worth the price.

The Sand Chateau in Seaside, OR is the absolute perfect place to host your Oregon Coast adventure. With a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of separate sleeping areas, and big picture windows over looking the Pacific Ocean, its everything you need. I came with a few friends on a three day retreat to the Coast and we each had our own room and our own bathroom. There's a pool table, a balcony, and a private entrance to a trail that wanders through the sand dunes before bringing you out onto the beach. The whole house was clean and well organized--it's clear the home owners have put a lot of thought into making this a warm, welcoming, and cozy home for their guests. Thank you for providing the perfect basecamp for our coastal adventure!!

I can't say enough good things about the Sand Chateau as a home base for an Oregon Coast trip! I visited just a few weeks ago - in January - and it was such a beautiful time to be there. We basically had the run of the coast to ourselves - it was magic! This house was perfect for our group. The owners are clearly cooks (as am I) - I wanted for nothing in this kitchen - appliances, all the pots and pans you could need, etc. Furthermore, and this was a huge bonus - they had tons of basic condiments, cooking oils and spices. This makes such a difference when you're traveling - especially long distance - and don't want to buy all these things you'll only use a tiny bit of. For groups, the layout of the place was awesome - we spent a ton of time sitting at the island counter while each of us was cooking; hanging out in front of the fireplace playing board games; playing pool downstairs at night. And of course the best part is beach access right out the back door, as well as a walking path that takes you right onto the main street of Seaside. Can't wait to go back and explore other seasons!

Beautiful beachfront house, direct access to the sand. Kitchen with all the supplies, and a comfortable walking distance from Broadway/shopping/restaurants. Watch the sunset from the dining room table!
