Klamath County Justice Court

I wasn't thrilled with the experience. I went all the way across the state from Portland to contest two tickets that were not fair. I would have just paid them if I knew I wasn't able to get a fair trial. Be very careful. Police and the judicial system are crooked in small towns.nnIt would have costed me hundreds of dollars if I wanted to keep appealing it. They said if I was declared not guilty I'd still have to give a check to them for more than $200. This is not including the hotel, gas, travel time and headache so I just paid it.nnI didn't drive there and the train only runs 2 times a week, so I had to get a hotel for 3 nights. I chose this to make a trip out of it. I didnt want to drive all that far and also risk driving in Klammath Falls. It would be gross to get a ticket driving to contest a ticket lol.nnI will make sure to try to avoid this town when road tripping. Just be very careful. You might get charged multiple tickets for things you did not do. It's very sad that this is in America.nnJust know that it's a part of life to come across these experiences and just work on avoid being surrounded by these things.nnI don't usually leave a negative review, but my experience made me feel the need too. I guess looking into hiring a lawyer would have been better. It may have been expensive, but justice is important.nnWith full blown honesty this place should be reported.

I had to deal with the woman that works the front; receptionist? Maybe she had a bad day, each day I had to deal with her, as she was very curt, condescending, unhelpful and rude.nThere should really be a way where the public can have a role in the choice of the public servants in government positions, as we are the ones paying for their paycheck.nBeware of this office woman
