Seaside Library

I called the Seaside Library while I was parked on the beach in Seaside where dozens and dozens of cars were trying to use the beach as a way to avoid a road block on Hwy 101 today following a crash. We are from out of town and needed to head north. Google maps wasn't helpful- it kept trying to direct us back onto 101. There wasn't much information yet published by the news outlets and no detours were posted yet. I thought the library might at least know where I can find information. The librarian I spoke to was incredibly helpful and even gave us directions for an alternate route to get north safely and avoid traffic (and without driving on the beach!). Hooray for Seaside Public Library!

Terrible rules for not allow to use computer more than 1.5 hours because of Social Distancing. By the way there are no people.

Best way to describe this library is clean, cozy, and a great place to sit down to read a book in front of there fireplace.

Love the staff! Always friendly and ready to help out. Great selection of books, and computers if you need one. I'm always happy to visit this library because everybody is quiet and respectful of others. Great place to study or relax.
