I give this place one star- and that was for nice receptionists- but the dentist himself filled a cavity for me years ago that still bothers me to this day. He also rated my gums as so-so, but when the hygienist came in to clean my teeth, she looked puzzled when seeing his chart he'd just done with all the number ratings, and said that my gums weren't near as bad as he'd written down. That did it for me; never again.

Dr. Flowers has been kind, caring and very competent when treating my children. I am very pleased with her care. She took extra care to ensure my son felt comfortable and safe when he had to have a tooth extracted. She gave detailed post-care instructions as well. She is wonderful!

I've now had two wonderful visits to Tyack. My schedule is tight - and the front desk receptionists are patient and quite good at fitting you into their schedule. Jessica, the hygienist, is good natured, kind, and gentle.nHands down the best part though, is Dr Flowers. I've never had a easier appointment in my lifetime. She was efficient, gentle, and her quality of work I now get to enjoy (I had several chips) is wonderful. I look forward to returning in the future. Wonderful place through and through.

This is a terrible dentist. They told me my insurance would cover a procedure when this was false (despite me asking them about it multiple times beforehand) and then they refused to do anything about it afterwards, leaving me on the hook for hundreds of dollars. As if that wasn't bad enough, they also acted like it was my fault they either lied or were completely incompetent. I'd sooner rip my own teeth out than go back to Tyack Dental.

I love going to this office! Dr. Flowers cares about her patients more than any doctor I have been to. She put all my dental anxieties at ease and made my kids love getting to go to the dentist. She has done fillings on my kids several times and they always leave smiling. Their first fillings she explained every single step and never put anything in their mouth without explaining what it is and what she was going to do with it, but the most amazing part was that she made it simple and comprehendable. It actually helped my understanding of the filling process which helped all of us feel at ease. Her staff are all bubbly and sweet too. I could go on for days...
