Sharon and Walt was the best host ever experienced. The campground is very nice. We picked huckleberrys all week.the most fun we've had in along time. Thank you Walt and sharon

Just camped for four nights August 2020 in site #8. We loved this spot, private, beautiful, sounds of river rushing. site had path down to river and we set up a hammock there, so beautiful. We had planned to go to Lake Como and it was full-- this was our backup plan and it was about 100 times nicer. Used as a base camp for hiking (Baker Lake was great) and Fishing (recommend Bitterroot Fly Company in Darby). Don't recommend Painted Rocks State Park- water was very low in reservoir and campground was unpleasant, but the 7 miles from Rombo to Painted Rocks made for a nice bike ride. HIghly recommend Rombo

One of our favorite campgrounds in SW Montana. Hosts do a great job keeping the grounds and outhouses clean.

Nice campground,spots are a little unlevel.easy access to river.

Out of all the campgrounds we’ve stayed in Montana this one beats them all due to the campground hosts. Extremely helpful and friendly and the campground was very well taken care of. We definitely plan on returning.
