Western Montana Foot and Ankle - Dr. Reed, Dr. Mangold and Dr. Schenavar

Dr. Schenavar did my perineal tendon repair excellently. He managed my pain and physical therapy very well. I also have diabetes and he will take care of me for that. The office staff are very kind and helpful as well.

Excellent care. Staff all have their own personalities which makes my visits extremely comfortable. Dr. Michael Reed has eliminated the doctor , patient tension so you can just be yourself and relax. They are my go to folks.

Okay long review ahead but sorry not sorry. You're gonna have to deal. I swear to God there's not enough fabulous things to say about this place.nn. Backstory time-- So first of all, I live in Kalispell. I was supposed to have my bunion surgery back in November there with a doctor I had used previously on my other foot. I mean I was like.. chomping at the bit ready already had my boot from kalispell doctor already had my meds from the kalispell doctor... Long list of covid related issues later AND primarily rudeness to myself and total and complete unprofessionalism and lack of any sort of compassion or covid common freakin sense laterrrrr... I called my insurance and asked them to give me a list of area surrounding doctors that would do my surgery.nnI actually called Alpine in missoula first I believe. I was THAT fed up with my Kalispell doctor and so embarrassed to go back to him that I was willing to drive 2 and a half hours out of my town to seek help for my foot. Anyway Alpine told me to call Western Montana Foot and Ankle and actually recommended Dr Brian Schenavar specifically. (Sorry if I butchered the spelling) so I called right then and I think it was Crystal (again sorry if I butchered that) that answered I explained her situation to me, she was so kind.. so so kind to me and wanted my foot x-rays, she even asked if she should call my Kalispell doc to get the x rays in case I didn't want to call and speak to him. God bless her sweet soul i still can't believe that.nnFast forward a couple weeks I had my consult with Dr Schenavar, which we did do new x-rays, and this whole appointment was considered my pre-op appointment and consult all in one, which I also thought was freaking awesome given 1) I was now taking on the role of driving 80 light-years away to see him and 2) I'd already had the run around with my Kalispell doc doing pre-op appoinents for him which, major eye roll.nnSo then my day for surgery comes around and seriously other than a few minor comments from hospital staff (nothing to do with this office) I couldn't have been treated better. I've had three post op appointments now and every single time I am in and out within 20 mins. Appointments are on time, and quick as hell. Everything has been fabulous.nnBut what I really want to point out is the way this office operates. I didn't have to do anything with this situation but show up. They handled EVERYTHING from any and all x-rays, scheduling, calling me, they took extra care knowing I was driving from kalispell, dr Schenavar himself even called my boyfriend picking me up from the hospital to let him know I was done with surgery. Crystal always makes sure I know if I need to reschedule due to literally any problem I can, without judgement. I could probably tell that lady my goldfish died and I can't make it and she'd still be so understanding.nnEach and every employee here makes me feel like I've had a Thanksgiving dinner with them all. Literally I feel like I've known everyone there for forever, they make you feel so comfortable. I don't know how this office scored such outstanding people, but please don't let these peeps go because damn. I'm actually a little sad to not have any issues of any sort because I will miss seeing everybody. Really. I'm sorry this review is so long but the gen pop needs to know how fantastic this place is and I'd also be doing a disservice to the greatest staff of a docs office ever, if I didn't tell them how perfect they are. You guys deserve to be complimented every day.I rave about you all, all the time. I can't believe how smooth this has been for me.nnThere's so much more for me to go on about, but all I can really say is, THANK YOU.

Dr. Schenavar was very professional and friendly. His office staff was incredibly helpful. The receptionists were great at answering all of my questions. Crystal the MA was so nice! Would highly recommend.
