Hands down, best pretzels we've ever had in our lives. Very kind, friendly owners. I look forward to going in every week. It's a gem of a place.
I ordered a Black Forest cake for my birthday and it was the most beautiful and delicious cake I’ve ever had! I bought a cake that was to serve 6 and when I picked it up it was HUGE and could have easily served 12. Everything made there is made with love. We are so excited to have found an authentic German bakery/deli and don’t have to leave the county to do it! We love you and will see you in October!
The food was amazing even though when we showed up they had very little pastries left with 2 hours to go till closing. The ladies who run it are always really nice and willing to give suggestions. If you get there early enough they always have a great variety.
I’ve had wonderful German food and this wasn’t it. I was quite disappointed in the lunch menu. My soup was bland and barely warm. The pretzel was so hard is couldn’t soak in the broth of the soup. It also was split for butter placement but little was there. I asked to drink water and that’s what I was served, tap water. No ice. No cold glass. The dessert was OK but I didn’t eat but half of it. The Ande mint was wonderful! For this I paid $10.50. I went to have lunch with a friend but spent the first half hour listening to a sales pitch on their holiday breads, Saturday dinners and pastries. I won’t return.
All tastes very homemade, and it is!! Fresh and full of delicious flavor. Definitely stop by if you're in town!!! We came an hour before closing and she was near sold out, so get here early if you can.
