I have always found Dr. Batey to be a very knowledgeable and compassionate physician.

While he may be a nice guy, his apparent bias toward the Chronic Pain community is astonishingly shortsighted. His disrespectful use of profanity placed me in a very awkward position and his views and lack of compassion for patients such as myself who suffer from Chronic Intractable Pain are unacceptable. Dr. Batey could use further instruction on treating pain and a little humility goes a long way. As a Human Rights Activist, I have been very much involved in advocating for the millions of Chronic Intractable Pain sufferers across the nation who have been denied care, treated with suspicion prejudice and disdain simply because of the illicit fentanyl, heroin, crack, meth and marijuana crisis which is killing thousands. Taking away safe and successful medications from genuine pain patients is cruel, inhumane and sadistic. If doctors are not willing to treat Chronic Pain, they need to leave the profession. This nations pets are treated with more compassion.

Without Dr Batey my husband could be paralyzed. He asked the right questions for a Guillan Barre diagnosis. My husband is more than grateful to Dr Batey. He also found a rare lung disease only found in Southwestern states in a woman who moved here from Arizona! To the first review, like any one else, he can have an off day!

My sister was diagnosed with a 'raging Urinary Track infection' at St. Peter's Urgent Care. She was deathly ill and they advised her to immediately see her Primary Care Physician (Dr. Batey) as soon as possible for treatment and likely hospital admission...my sister is in her 70s and suffers from COPD, has a colostomy bag, a chronic Foley Catheter, she is a cancer survivor, and other chronic medical conditions - needless to say a 'raging UTI' could kill her.nnMr. Batey completely ignored Urgent Care's diagnosis and told her she did not have a UTI and basically told her to go home and stop whining.nnTwo days later my sister was admitted to St. Peter's Hospital with (you guessed it) an even more serious UTI. After three days and much pain and suffering, as well as near death treatment, my sister pulled through - no thanks to Mr. Batey.nnIn my opinion Mr. Batey is both supremely arrogant and incompetent and should NOT be allowed to practice medicine.
