Teton Physical Therapy

As a rule, I do not write reviews, as I believe everybody has different opinions on things, and they need to try something for themselves. But my experience with Teton Physical Therapy has been such a good one that I felt that I had to share. I have been a patient of Teton Physical Therapy for the last four years. Over this time, I’ve gotten to known to my therapists, Emily and Megan, quite well. I don’t know what I would do without them at this point in my life, as I need somebody that knows me, keeps track of my condition and keeps in touch with my doctor concerning my progress or any medical issues that they feel he needs to know about. They are able to motivate me, and make my program interesting from week to week. This is very hard to do when you don’t feel well and you don’t want to do any exercise. But without my therapists, I would just sit in my chair day after day, not getting any movement at all. They have kept me able to transfer from my chair to my walker to assist me getting to different places in my house-bed, toilet, car, etc. As an example of how they incorporate fun and work, to help with core strength and balance, we have started playing clapping hand games like Miss Mary Mac, Patty Cake, or Tic-Tac-Toe. These are fun and very beneficial. Ball toss is also a fun one for balance.nMy therapists come to my house each week, as it is very helpful to me. When they are not able to come, they make sure that I have someone else to see so I do not to regress. I have gotten to know my substitute physical and occupational therapists very well over the years. It is always like meeting a good friend that you haven’t seen in months. It is like a reunion for us, but we always get down to work. Each person that I know at Teton Physical Therapy are such professionals who go above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to their patients.

I’ve had the privilege of receiving care and by working at this gorgeous facility. The staff worked together as a cohesive team to meet all of my rehab needs. I was impressed by the extensive home program at the end of my treatment in order for me to continue to progress towards my athletic endeavors. Thanks Teton PT for all of your hard work!

Update to my previous one star review - Teton Physical Therapy addressed my frustrations directly and without excuses. I was extremely frustrated by the cost of a simple initial evaluation. Though we all understand there is little that can be done once the 'care is provided' they genuinely seemed to care about the challenges provided by the situation. The care we received was good and the doctor was very easy to talk to and thoughtful.
