Anderson Reserve

We chose Anderson Reserve for our New Year's Eve dinner this year and it was definitely the right choice. We're never disappointed when we go and last night was no different. When we arrived, the building was lit up beautifully. We were early for our reservation, but were seated right away. Great beer and wine selection. Appetizers were great and dinner selection was easy. I had the beef wellington and added a lobster tail. The others had the top sirloin and new york strip with lobster tails as well. The steaks were tender and flavorful with perfectly matched sides. The tails were cooked to perfection. We finished the night with the caramel cake which was an old family recipe. It was the perfect ending. Even though we all waddled out and practically bursting at the seams, it was well worth it.

Amazing Food & Experience. We were greeted at the door and shown to our table upstairs which has a great view of the restaurant itself but also the amazing outdoor backdrop. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They gave great recommendations and made our visit feel relaxed and very upscale/professional. The food was outstanding, from the appetizers to the soup/salad and entrees. Beer and wine selection was great and the beer I had tasted great. I ordered a perfectly cooked medium rare NY Strip with Lobster Tail and my wife ordered the vegetable risotto. It was all well seasoned and cooked perfect. The dry aged steak was insane. I think the food is worth every penny of the cost. A true gem of a restaurant tucked away in the mountains of Idaho. Would recommend 10/10. We will be back.

Why this place doesn't have 5 stars, is beyond me! What a lovely evening. the building is amazing, the food even better and the service - WOW! I can't wait to go when the weather is warmer and take advantage of that amazing patio.

Our second trip back proved the first visit wasn't a fluke. Amazing quality steaks with tantalizing seafood and lamb options as well. Service just as friendly and country atmosphere can't be beat.

Went to Brunch this weekend and had one of the best experiences ever. Such a beautiful location overlooking mountains which snow on them, the service right when you walk in is amazing. We got the perfect table next to the music and was greeted by our cute bubbly server. The food was so incredible and the drinks were flowing ! Afterwards we sat on the patio with a beautiful fire and took in the scenery. We will be back for dinner ! Thanks again AR we loved it
