Some of the staff are nice, the others are just rude. It is NOT the kind of place to have a bad attitude. I understand the long hours and the patients, but they chose that profession to care for people, why be so rude and unprofessional about it. The male doctor was very adamant about wanting to do a pelvic exam on my teen age daughter. We went in for appendicitis. We were there for over 3 hours, and he kept running different exams. After the 3rd time of being told NO, we will not be doing a pelvic exam, they released us. Then, the hospital told my insurance company to put the money towards my deductible instead of towards the bill. So I ended up with a huge bill from Valor. They wanted a huge amount of money monthly towards the bill, or wanted to hand you over to someone else to pay the bill and charge me $700 on top of my huge bill. Not my kind of hospitality. I will NOT, be going back, unless I have no choice.

Will never use Valor Health again. My husband had a scheduled ultrasound, when I received the EOB from insurance it stated emergency room visit, times 2 (for a left and right side ultrasound) billing over $400 for each. When I called they said I was wrong, they did not bill it that way and “that is just what we charge”. My insurance statement clearly says emergency room. Then when I stated that when we went over the hill for a follow up CT with Contrast, that cost half as much, I was told “well I go over the hill and have a CT every 6 months and there is no way it costs less”. Well, I have all the statements to prove it. Was she interested in seeing them, nope. When I said they were price gouging the small town, she basically stated oh well! NEVER!!! Now I have over $1000 that I am paying them. I looked up the code for a fair market charge for the ultrasound, it came up with half of what we were charges. That speaks volumes. Hope you spend it well because we will never be back.

I went in for delivery it was my first baby and I was absolutely terrified. It seemed like everything we tried did not work and I ended up having to get an emergency c section. The entire staff was so amazing every nurse was so catering towards me and my son. I have never been so impressed with a hospital. I want to shout out Andria the nurse she really feels like she is a piece of my family now. I’m extremely grateful for the care we received.

I went to the E.R. on Sunday night, and the staff was extremely gracious. The CNA always came back to see if I was o.k. do I need a blanket etc. The nurse, doctor and the radiology tech were great! I have never had a bad experience with the hospital. As much as I don't like IV's the nurse was so gentle I never felt a thing. Thanks to the staff for everything.
