Local gardening center is open but i cant even go to the police station to apply for a gun permit. Stripping 2a rights. Do i need a lawyer?
The Gloucester Police Department cares about two things:n1. Writing Parking Tickets like their budget depends on it (my guess is it does)n2. Standing near the constant road construction projects chugging Dunkin, pretending to be of help and service.
I just found out about the Gloucester Police Department's PAARI initiative, (Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative), that helps addicts who seek help without fear of arrest. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and I literally bawled my eyes out watching Dateline's special on the police chief, Leonard Campanello, who started this program. It's about time that somebody try to help these people. Opiate abuse, especially heroin abuse, has become a NATIONAL EPIDEMIC. I lost my little brother, Robby, in 2012 to this horrific drug, and I am SO grateful to this police chief and the police men and women who are using their community policing skills to help these people. I applaud you and thank you for your bravery in bringing national awareness to this issue!
