My husband and I were taking Route 95, known as The Free Range Art Highway, and Goldfield is a spot on the journey because it is a still inhabited Ghost Town as well as The International Car Forest. We stayed at Goldfield RV and actually got to meet the Manager. He is the coolest dude!!nThere are only twelve spaces, they weren't all full when we got there but we were told that they do so booking online would be a good way to go unless you manage to catch him out and about to snag a spot.nA mile and a half walk to The Car Forest. The entire town has Historical Markers on the buildings. There are Geocaches in town if you know what those are. Definitely worth the journey into the desert if you are a seeker of art and Ghost Towns. You see wild horses ans donkey along the way.

Thank you Scott for your prompt responses. THANK YOU Randy for being a top-notch site manager. This was our maiden voyage in the Minnie Winnie and we learned a lot from Randy about prepping for snow and the cold. Really great small town, check out Dinky Diner, the Hidden Treasure Trading Company and the International Car Forest.

Friendly staff. Park is rustic - like the rest of the town. Hook-ups were good and spaces roomy.

Randy the Manager is awesome, park is quiet and clean, hook ups are all in working order, dog friendly, donkey friendly old mining town, we will stay again.

Excellent little RV park for a great night’s sllep! Comfortable size sites for mh w/tow and a great price. Neat view of an old quiet desert town, wild donkeys, super dark at night. We’d return for sure! Only reason not 5 star: just not a foofy place-very simple, quiet and comfortable. Idk if they even have showers.
