Albertsons Market Pharmacy

A week ago, I went to pick up my prescription because I had just got a text alert on my phone saying they were ready for pick up. I had neglected picking them up for awhile so decided to finally stop and get them. I was informed that after ten days they re- stock the prescription. I was annoyed but figured it was more my error then them, even though I was receiving confirmation texts that they were ready.nnWell today, I decided to call first rather then make the trip and be disappointed. Upon calling two prescriptions were ready. I asked if I could request for another to be refilled, they looked it up and said it would be ready shortly. So I waited fifteen minutes before going to the store, did my grocery shopping and then went to request my prescriptions. The pharmacy tech told me two were ready and they would need another ten to fifteen minutes to have the newly requested script ready. Annoyed with the situation but wanting my medicine I decided to wait more time even though I had already purchased frozen products that were going to begin defrosting. I left Albertsons and went to Walgreens to get the other products I needed that they didn’t have. Came back and waited five minutes in my car, so at this point fifteen minutes had elapsed. I went inside and bought more product, paid for it, and then went back to the pharmacy. Had to wait in line while my frozen groceries kept defrosting. When I got to the window the same pharmacy tech informed me that they had no inventory to refill the prescription I had requested and that it would be ready tomorrow.nnI’m extremely annoyed because they had two opportunities to tell me that the prescription was not in inventory and would not be ready today. Instead, I waited over 40 minutes for the prescriptions that were already ready. I wish Albertsons had a prescription inventory system that would inform them at any point during a transaction that they do not have the inventory in stock and the customer would have to wait. This seems to be an on going problem as I’ve run into the “we don’t have the inventory” several times. I’m pretty sure this was the last time I’ll be a customer at Albertsons pharmacy.
