Such wonderful, kind & professional staff work here. We recently found a beautiful collie on I25 north who jumped right into our vehicle. She was cold & wet, but very sweet. If we were able to have kept her, we definitely would have kept her. We only spent all of 10 minutes with this dog, but she melted our hearts immediately. We wish this ud83dudc15 all the best and to find her forever home that loves & appreciates her. A very big THANK YOU to Sonora Animal Shelter for being available in the early morning hours and taking this sweet collie in. GOD bless you all!!!

Excellent service, and very kind. I knew this was a good place to leave the heeler that showed up at our house. I dropped him off around 1pm and around 7pm he showed up back at home 6 miles down the road. Needless to say he's staying Home! But kind of discouraging that animals can escape!

Very friendly accommodations by staff. Nice healthy kittens offered. Went home with a beautiful healthy gray white pawed male kitten (Moonshine, we named him) that was picked by the catcher yesterday! Nice clean shelter. Adopt with confidence here!

They have so many animals that need to be adopted. They are doing the best they can to save all of them

During Covid-19, appointments are required for adoptions, but I was there just to look, and they allowed that. Chihuahuas are the smallest dogs they had, but they were larger than typical. I was surprised by the many number of kittens they had. The facility is clean.
