I have been a patient of Taos Dental for over a year and always found the service and quality to be excellent. Recently I had dental emergency and when I called the office Dr. Nylund told me come in immediately. I was in a chair and numb within 15 minutes of my arrival and Dr. Nylund resolved what turned out to be an abscessed tooth within another fifteen minutes. The follow up root canal went flawlessly and more importantly- painlessly. I have had a lot if dental work over the years and I rarely have I been more satisfied with the complete experience.

I found him uncaring & sloppy with his work. The staff wasn’t any better & even overcharged me. I would never refer a person to his practice and feel as a doctor he should be held to a higher standard.nnInstead I turned him over to the insurance commissioner. Steer clear

Sorry but Dr Nylund's expansion after he purchase the business from Dr Simms has gone down hill. His front staff are very scattered when called on the phone, most recently trying to get my father in law a follow up for his plate, which has taken 2 months. At 90 years old and in this community since 1959, he deserves better. The rates for cleaning are sky high and they push xrays every time. I will say that the hygenists are wonderful, especially Noah. Justin seems overly aggressive, especially when he filled 4 teeth, leaving my jaw sore for days. Their other dentist was a little to casual for my taste. The latest visit has a wheel to spin as you check out, if you can show them you've given them 4 stars on yelp.nwhatever you land on, you get a free whitening, or electric tooth brush, or whatever. I'm not going to be bribed in to giving them 4 stars. They seem to be spending a lot on advertising. Maybe they just have bitten off more than they can handle.

Everyone is really nice and does a great job! Would recommend to a friend!

I am one of the biggest chickens there is when it comes to dentists. I have been seeing Dr. Nylund for about 2 years. Not only is he knowledgeable, he explains options and is very gentle. He is also very patient with me. My oral health is in much better condition because of him.
