This place is absolutely awesome! Our dog got hurt while on vacation over the weekend. We talked to their on call veterinarian and he gave us in home care instructions till we could make it in Monday morning. He also offered to do a weekend emergency visit if we wanted it even though our dog was okay to wait about 18 hours until they opened for regular business hours. The care and compassion was amazing.nnWhen we called Monday morning to get an appointment they saw our dog first thing in the morning. Everyone I interacted with was very nice, kind and caring. I can't say enough great things about Mountain Legacy and I wish we lived close enough to use them all the time for our veterinary needs.nnThanks so much! You guys are AWESOME!!!

We have stayed with the staff here for many years for our dog and reptiles. That is quite a range in what our pet’s needs encompass!The professionals here have been able to diagnose and treat the pet’s problems effectively and every one of the staff show they truly love and care about the pets and their clients.nI trust this business because of the staff’s knowledge, communication and proper diagnoses.

We were visiting the valley, when one of our dogs had life-threatening GI bleed. We were able to have her seen at Mountain Legacy immediately even though it was after hours, and she received amazing care there over the next three days. Every single person we interacted with was professional and caring. They each communicated very well with us, and obviously among themselves as a team as well. Once we got home, it was easy to get in touch with questions as our dog continued her recovery. We drove three and a half hours for a follow-up appointment with Dr. Seth because of our trust in Mountain Legacy, and the quality and value of care we received.

We were camping in Lake City when our dog hurt his tail somehow on a Friday night. We called them early Saturday am and talked to Dr Johnson. He told us to bring our dog in at 9am and they would take a look at him. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We can't thank them enough. We would recommend this veterinary center to anybody in the Gunnison area. Thank you so much!

Our seven pound toy poodle ate a plastic earbud while vacationing in Gunnison. We were able to bring him in immediately for treatment. Dr Seth tried inducing vomiting which didn’t work. Our options were to retrieve it endoscopicly, or surgically. He thought it was too big to pass through. He suggested endoscopy which worked! Within 4 hours our little guy was back home acting like nothing happened.nThe staff was kind and Dr. Seth came out to talk to us and to return the earbud. If I lived in Gunnison I would use Mountain Legacy.
