Clean. Decor is beautiful. Updated features. Close to almost everything. Nice amenities. Would/will definitely stay again!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We stayed in one of the trailers and unfortunately, the heating unit either didn't work or couldn't work efficiently enough to heat the trailer. There was essentially no heat in the trailer for most of the weekend. It was so cold inside that our damp swimsuits froze over night, snow tracked in didn't melt, and our food froze.nnThe description of the trailers online says they are perfect for all seasons and have high power AC and Heat (see photos). When we called the front desk, we were first told we didn't know how to use the heater (we did). When we called back, we were quite angry but the staff member's response was along the lines of, we should have expected there to be no heat because of an asterisk on the website (there is none) and the cold temperatures were very unusual for the area (they were typical winter temperatures). We requested a refund, were granted it, but unfortunately couldn't find anywhere else to stay. We stayed the remainder of our stay and when we asked for additional blankets, we were given a twin sized blanket for two people staying in a king bed. The staff's response did not suggest they had any interest in helping us and ultimately, we were mislead due to their own website. If it were advertised as expensive glamping, I would have expected that and not booked.nnOverall, this is a horrible case of incorrect advertising and resulted in us freezing in a trailer and arguing with the staff. I truly wish we could have stayed somewhere else. I anticipate an argument from the staff (see other negative, honest reviews) but, this is just not what advertised and yes, we were angry. We were freezing and receiving no help from any staff.nnTLDR: don't bother staying here in the winter or if it is too cold to camp.

We got a room, not the Airstreams. Really simple, basic. I wish they'd had a microwave, but we knew what we were getting. Room warms up fast and cools down slowly. Decor is cute and functional. My only real complaint is there isn't adequate light above the bathroom sink to shave or whatever.

This is one of the best experiences I have had at a hotel. It is minimalistic but very well done. Clean, retro and nice. Beats most of the “fancy” hotels. Very nice atmosphere. No breakfast due to COVID.

We stayed at Amigo Motor Lodge over Labor Day weekend and couldn't be happier with our decision to do so. We rented the Airstream 'Francis', which has a queen bed, bunk beds, plenty of storage space to put your suitcases or paddleboards, as well as a great horseshoe table for eating, drinking, or playing cards.nnThe shared bathrooms were extremely clean, with great Malin/Goetz soaps and shampoos, and LG air conditioners that kept the bathrooms and our Airstream nice and cool in the 90 degree plus weather.nnCan't say enough about this place. A must stay in Salida!
