Clean and the check in was super easy. The place is really quiet and very very clean. Pretty modern. Still using furnace . Very small shower but the hot hot water made up for it !
The staff was super friendly. The room was very comfortable. I really liked how the beds were separated in rooms. We've been on the road with our kids, so it was nice to not sleep right beside them for once.
If you are in the Saguache area this is the place to stay. Hometown owned and excellent accommodations.
A gem of a motel. Originally built in 1954 this motel has been fully renovated from the roof to the shower basins and is still owned and operated by the children of the father who built the place. The metal work on the roof and elsewhere on the property is expertly crafted and the same is true for the exterior stucco walls and landscaping. And you can have all of this and a sparkling clean, cozy room for about 70$ or less. Loraine, the oldest daughter of six children, takes care of her guests as well as she has taken care of the property. If you're in the San Luis Valley don't stay anywhere else!
